In the UK, all of our music is licensed via the MCPS. The MCPS control the copyright of most music in the UK and license Production/Library Music according to their rate card (available as a PDF download here). The rates are charged in 30-second units and range from £20 to £5335 per use, dependent upon the production category (i.e Corporate, Internet, Advertising, etc.). This is the only fee you need to pay in order to license our music, which can be used in perpetuity provided you make no further changes to the production.

If you are already a signatory to the MCPS Code of Conduct or are working on a Radio or TV project covered under a blanket agreement, then all you need to do is report the use of our music to MCPS. Once you have chosen your track(s) you should apply for a license here.

If you are not a signatory to the Code of Conduct then you must first register with MCPS here. It only takes two minutes and you get a "P Number" straight away.
